This Privacy Policy explains how Maël Bazoin, sole trader operating as Sharkass3D / Wargamesprint (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit sharkass3d.com or place an order with us. We are the data controller for the processing described below.

We take your privacy seriously and process your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

2. What data we collect

Data you give us:

Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address, telephone number.
Delivery and billing address.
Order information: products ordered, order value, order history, currency, shipping option chosen (including the optional “VIP” shipping protection).
Communications: the content of messages you send us (support requests, custom-order enquiries, photos you send in connection with a claim).
Marketing preferences: your consent (or withdrawal of consent) to receive our newsletter.

Data collected automatically:

Technical and browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, actions on the site, approximate location derived from IP.
Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

Payment data: card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (see section 5). We do not store full card numbers.

4. Digital products

When you purchase a digital file (STL), we keep a record of the purchase and download in order to provide the file, provide support, protect against unauthorised distribution and comply with our legal obligations.

5. Who we share your data with

We share your data only with parties that need it to provide our service:

Shopify (Shopify International Limited, Ireland / Shopify Inc., Canada) — e-commerce platform, hosting, checkout, order management.
Payment providers — Shopify Payments/Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and other methods offered at checkout (Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Bancontact, iDEAL, and others), for payment processing and fraud prevention.
Happypost and the postal/courier carriers it selects for your destination — for shipping and tracking. Your name and delivery address are shared with the carrier.
Newsletter — if you subscribe, our newsletter is sent using the email tools built into our platform, Shopify. We do not use a separate email marketing provider.
Analytics — we currently rely only on the aggregated audience analytics built into Shopify. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics services.
Our accountant and professional advisers, and public authorities, where required by law.

We never sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (in particular Shopify and certain payment providers) are located outside the European Economic Area, including in Canada and the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised by the GDPR — an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Canada, for commercial organisations; the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

Order and transaction data: for the duration of the commercial relationship, then archived to meet accounting and tax obligations (10 years under French law).
Customer account and contact data: until you ask us to delete it or after a period of inactivity.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, and normally no more than 3 years after your last interaction with us.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”), within the limits of our legal obligations;
restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal);
give instructions on the fate of your data after your death.

9. Security

We use HTTPS encryption across the site and rely on providers (Shopify, payment processors) that apply recognised security standards, including PCI-DSS for payments. We restrict access to personal data to what is necessary to run the business.

10. Children

Our products and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 15 without parental consent.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “last updated” date shows the current version. Material changes will be signalled on the website.
